I see I said, jealousy I said
Got the whole industry mad at me I said
Then B.I. said, "Hov' remind yourself
nobody built like you, you've designed yourself"
I agree I said, my one of a kind self
Get stoned every day like Jesus did
What he said, I said, has been said before
"Just keep doing your thing," he said, say no more

Hey dolls!!!
It has definitely been a little while, a lot has been going on. The Sunglass Hut fashion blogger contest is still in full swing so make sure you guys vote by Nov 17th.
These last couple of days I started to realize how much people shun something they don't understand. It started after I watched Kanye West's mini movie "Runaway," and listened/read people's reactions. I'm not gonna lie, when I first watched it I thought it was rather disturbing & odd, and yes I'm entitled to my opinion(s), but can I really look down upon something simply because I don't understand it/agree with it?...No, and I think a lot of people fall into that category. Although Kanye's film was peculiar, I appreciated it because it challenged my thoughts and sparked controversy; thats what I want my work to do - to invoke conversation...like they say, if people aren't talking about you, you're not doing something right, so keep them talking, whether positive or negative at least you're being thought about. I see a lot of this in the Black community, specifically with the females. It's like it kills chicks to give another woman a compliment. I understand you may not like something but why all the negativity? It's just sad to me that your own race can't even be supportive considering the adversity we already face. In the end, I'm gonna continue to push the envelope and be that chick that stirs up controversy. Normal & playing it safe is boring and do not inspire people. Whether you agree with my work or not, I feel like no matter what I leave you thinking. Whether its 'how can I recreate that outfit' or 'how can I do it better,'you will be inspired and anybody who says differently is in denial...simple as that. I'm so passionate about my vision and my craft that I can say things like that with confidence, and I believe it.
On another note, I'm really interested in starting a t-shirt/sweat shirt/hoodie line called Dope Since 1986/Dope Since, I think it would be SUPER DUPER DOPE, what do you guys think? I'm just trying to make a name for myself by any means necessary, I refuse to be stagnate and wake up 20 years from now with regrets because I didn't pursue my dreams, I just wanna share my vision with the world...thats all I want.
