I got my gun in my boo purse
& I don't bust back because I shoot first!
I've always had a fascination with guns. For as young as I can remember I always wanted to be a cop; the risky lifestyle appealed to me for whatever reason. Cops were glamorized on tv, they always captured the 'bad guys' & were declared heros [shout-outs to New York Undercover]. As I got older I realized that what I saw on tv was fictional & real life definitely didn't have a happy ending, but my attraction to guns didn't fade. I'm all for artistic expression, just because I find guns interesting does not mean I'm gonna rob a bank or do a drive by, it just is what it is...Yes they symbolize hurt, pain, & violence, however thats not my perception. To me, they represent power & authority, something we all crave. Guns are simply objects, like they say "guns don't kill people, people kill people." We must take responsibility for our actions & cease to blame them on inanimate objects fueled by our aggression.
